JAMES W. CAUGHY AND FLORENCE L. CAUGHY VERBEEK VACAVILLE HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIAL SERVICE AWARD FUND

One or more annual competitive scholarships will be awarded to eligible college bound graduating seniors currently attending Vacaville High School (Vacaville, CA).  Applicants must meet this eligibility criteria:

• a four year “B” grade point average (3.0 GPA or better) effective as of the end of the 3rd quarter of their Senior year
• must have been a Vacaville High School student during both their Junior and Senior years
• must be of good moral character** and have shown a genuine interest in family, school, and community service, and in public affairs generally.  
  

Applicants for the first scholarship cycle (opening spring 2023) will use the Foundation’s online application portal.  Application packages must include current official grade transcripts.  An applicant interview by the Selection Committee may be required if the applicant is chosen as a final candidate.
